2.  Post answers to various questions and discussions. You will also have to tag each answer.  For every answer you post, you will get one point . If you are interested in answering questions in a particular category, you can use the search option. There is no limit to the number of answers or questions you can post.

3.  The discussions are classified into 3 categories - new questions, hot topics (which are are sometimes controversial) and discussions/questions with no replies for a week. Usually, most people have an opinion on hot topics.

4. You can start a discussion , but you will not earn any point, till someone replies to the discussion. Many  users are of the opinion that answering questions in the "not answered" section will earn you more money.

5. On average each point is equivalent to US$0.01-0.02 if your answer is at least 2 sentences long. Some users have earned more, especially when their answer was selected as the best answer. It is possible that the earnings per answer will decrease as number of  users increase. Some users have reported that by adding images, the amount you earn for each point increases.

6. If you are one of  the first persons to answer a question, the chances of  getting a best answer are higher. Also answering questions that have remained unanswered for some time will increase your earnings.

Forummatrix was a similar service paying users to post, but they have suddenly stopped payments. For posting in forums , you can earn US$0.10-.20 per post but most forum owners are very particular about the length and quality of the post.
