Compared to the MSI X340 , the Dell Mini laptop starts up slowly. Since the processor speed is less(1.33 GHz) and hard disk space available is also less (80 GB) in comparison with the various netbook and laptop models available in the market today, the laptop is also slow when used for word processing applications. However, the laptop has a larger screen than most netbooks , making reading easy. The batteries drain fairly quickly when not connected to the power supply. Other than slow operation, there have been no major problems with the laptop in the last 6 months.
